Who Are You Listening To?
Human beings spend approximately 80% of their day communicating, and 55% of that is from listening. We are listening to things all the time: music, tv, each other... We are constantly aborbing information. In the culture that we live in, fear and anxiety are prevalent. We hear all about death and destruction, and little about hope.
So I guess my question is... Who are we listening to? What are we listening to? Who am I listening to?
The evil one's purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. He often fills our heads with lies: You're not good enough. You can't do this. No one cares about you.
The Father comes to bring light, life, and love.
Today, I was given a precious gift to help me listen to the truth!
One of my amazing friends made me a photo album, filled with sweet pictures and notes from my family and boyfriend and my friends. It brought me to tears to read all the notes and look at the pictures!
The Lord is always willing to download His insight and His love into our hearts.
He is constantly whispering to us, "Look at the sunset, the ocean, the trees; I made this all for you."
He writes love letters to us with every new day, every fresh blessing that He gives through each breath.
He created us, His beloved; His handiwork that He is well-pleased with.
The Father comes to bring light, life, and love. I'm learning that He most often does this through the people in my own life!
Hear the Father's heart for you today: I made this all for you.
