Work: When Waiting Is No Longer an Option
When it comes to my walk with Jesus, I always am thinking, "I'm just in a waiting place. I'm just waiting on God right now."
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting for what, exactly? Some divine symbol from God? Some big, shiny, pointy arrow, telling me which direction to go?
Maybe a little bit of all of the above.
The Circle Maker is changing my paradigm of waiting.
Waiting isn't necessarily a bad thing.
What happens when God is asking me to take a step before He shows me a sign?
What happens when He is asking me to demonstrate faith by making a move?
Noah built the ark before the rain came. People laughed at him, but how foolish did they look when the flood came?
I'm learning that sometimes waiting is no longer an option.
God may be asking us to take a step, to make a move, before He shows us the next step!
I'm learning that the Father is often asking me to trust that He'll be with me as I take a step without seeing a definite sign.
Sometimes we must work. Sometimes we must move. And in that point, we will see the Father manifest in our lives!
